Are you struggling with your reactive, anxious or excitable dog?
Settling in your new rescue dog or need support with your rescue pet?
Hello I’m Helen Motteram (BSc Hons), and I run Social Paws as a family business with my husband Tristan (accredited dog trainer and dog owner’s coach). We offer an exceptional service, here to help give the very best long term support for you and your best friend. Through our bespoke success programmes and one to one training walks we get you results with the highest level of integrity.
My journey with my own dog Sally helped me to understand that life as an owner of an anxious dog is not easy. You can’t simply just enjoy the pleasures of a normal walk in the park.
You are often made out to be a bad dog owner or told your is being naughty.
HOWEVER this is rarely the case. You should NEVER be made to feel guilty!
Does this sound familiar?
Your dog is too nervous to leave the house.
Walking your dog often leaves you embarrassed, stressed and frustrated.
You’ve stopped inviting friends around.
You are struggling with your new rescue dog or puppy.
Here’s how we can help you
Discover enjoyable walks, without the embarrassment or a happy sociable dog who has the best start when settling in.
Based in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham as an accredited dog trainer and pet behaviourist, Helen Motteram (BSc Hons) and dog trainer Tristan Motteram our methods are kind, ethical and effective.
