Friendly and local walk hosted by the MERRYFELLOW
Dog walking group in Charlton Kings
Social Paws was proud to support the Merryfellow monthly dog walking group, around Charlton Kings. Today we saw the launch of this popular event, offering an opportunity for dogs and their humans to socialise and enjoy the fresh air.
The Merryfellow is a local dog friendly pub, offering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They host many monthly events including the walk and have a large selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks.
It’s the perfect place to enjoy a cold drink in the summer in their beer garden, or feel warm and snug in the colder months inside.
About the Charlton Kings Walking Group
The dog-friendly walking group is a gentle walk around our local village for all paces. It is lead by Helen Motteram of Social Paws and hosted by the Merryfellow. The aim is to create a welcoming community where dogs and their humans can enjoy the great outdoors together. Today we did a loop around the local fields and village paths with a bit of mud on the route and clear blue skies, fun was had by everyone. All are welcome to join us the first of every month, starting off at the Merryfellow at 10:30am. You can arrive early at 10:00am to enjoy a cake and hot or cold drink, plus some dog friendly snacks. Then after the walk join us again to relax in a local pub with a friendly atmosphere.
